I had no idea what to expect when I first picked up Without End, but was very thankful when I did. It sucked me into the story from the beginning with beautiful descriptive scenes with dialogue that will sure to titillate you and bring the story to life in your mind. I fell in love with Claudette's character. She was sassy, confident and full of life. She was a woman who knew what she wanted, or so she believed until she met Dino. Their chemistry was sexually explosive that had me desperately needing to see where the story went and what would happen with them.Dino is the next and important key to this incredible book. Initially misunderstood, Dino is a tough biker that has a heart of gold with eyes only for Claudette. He is persistent in his pursuit, but is a genuine loving and romantic man trying to find the perfect woman. Although he is a bit of a mamma's boy, his reasons are deep rooted and makes you fall for him even more. If you're looking for a hot book to keep you warm at night or even one to spice up your love life, this is the book you need to read.

Even though I'm an avid reader, this is one of the first books that I've felt strongly enough to review. I was a little skeptical when purchasing this book because it was free, and freebies are definitely hit or miss. I was first surprised by the length, no novella here; then I was then surprised by the quality of writing. A.R. Senault presents characters that are not only believable, but incredibly interesting. From the first page, I was interested enough to want to continue reading. Senault drew me into the story and kept me turning the pages into the wee hours of the morning.
While this book was definitely steamy, it had me emotionally invested as well. There are moments that are heartbreaking (I definitely had my ugly cry working) and moments that are seriously laugh out loud funny (I was laughing so hard on the plane that I had two rows of people staring at me like I was crazy). There are also moments when I wanted to smack several characters because they were being so stubborn. Any book that is able to generate such strong emotions, is definitely a winner. I can't wait for the next installment in this series!
HOLY CATS! This is a great book! A friend recommended it to me, I trust her, I got the book. I've been crazy busy and it took me forever to get to read it. Once I started, I got interrupted and was furious. I was completely drawn in. I started over and read the whole thing in one big bite, and boy was it a satisfying bite! Claudette and Dino! Sigh... The FF boys... Sigh again. I love them all, want to live with them. Want them to be my friends. And isn't that the sign of a great book? Of an amazing writer? When the characters are so real, so honest you feel like you truly know them and are friends and they live down the street? A. R. Senault is a phenomenal writer whom I hope to read many, many books from. Very soon, if possible. If you haven't picked up this book, what are you waiting for? It's amazing!!!
I started reading WITHOUT END without really knowing what it was about. If I remember right, it was a freebie and I always take advantage of any free books on . It was sitting in my TBR pile on my kindle for a while before I decided to pick it up. Glad I did. From the very first chapter I could see that it was going to be an interesting one.
A.R. Senault has a unique way with words - a certain sophistication so to speak. She uses words which are not often found in other books which makes me feel that this author is highly educated.
The story was fun, serious and at times heartbreaking. It triggered all emotions. I absolutely loved how Claudette interacted with her gay friend, Johnny but my favorite parts were those with Mrs P, Dino's mum. I caught myself giggling a few times because I come from a European background and I know how poor 'church-going' Mrs P must have felt when her son hooked up with a very outspoken and not so timid 'sex doctor'. I was worried when I jumped the gun towards the end and imagined a gloomy finale, but those concerns were soon banished.
I'm not one for liking too many steamy sex scenes in books and movies, and BDSM stories do nothing for me, but the story line in this novel was brilliant and kept me reading and more importantly kept me hooked. I fell in love with the characters - all of them! I felt privileged to witness their growth, (so to speak) and the way they went from being strangers, to friends, to family was truly inspiring. It's definitely worth the 5 stars. WELL DONE A.R. SENAULT! )
I loved the characters, especially the supporting characters (even if most were too good to be true - but this is fiction so I'm okay with that) and the overall idea was original. I'll definitely read other books by the author and will look for other books in the series. There were some things that didn't make sense on an intellectual level (sexually and otherwise) given the intelligence and status of Claudette, but again, I'm going to let it pass because it's fiction.
The reason for a four-star review instead of a five-star is based on something that if I delve into too much will be a major spoiler. I had an inkling that the (spoiler) could happen and I was really hoping the author would not go down that path. Alas, she did, and it still worked for the story, but was generally disappointing to me because this thing that I don't want to spoil is not the be-all end-all of all relationships and certainly does not determine the overall happiness in ones life.
The last few chapters had some good suspense. Again, I can't go into it too much for risk of spoiling a good story for you. Great job to A.R. Senault at really digging those hooks in and making me unwilling to complete any other tasks until I'd finished.
